Amina Muaddi, founder and creative director of self-titled luxury accessories brand, has been appointed as the new Mentor for fashion programmes at Istituto Marangoni Firenze. A unique combination of traditional training and avant-garde taste has turned Amina Muaddi into an icon in the fashion industry. Her accessories line is entirely made in Italy and blends shoe-making expertise and craftsmanship with a global fashion perspective. The brand has achieved cult status thanks to her signature pyramid heels and sculptural silhouettes, innovative marketing approach and disruptive sales strategy. Born in Romania to a Jordanian father and a Romanian mother, Amina Muaddi spent her childhood in Jordan before moving first to Romania and then to Italy, where she completed high school and then studied at a fashion university in Milan.
