“As an artist and a jeweler, you must find a way to accentuate the natural elegance of what are arguably the most beautiful materials found on earth.
JEWELRY IS MY MEDIUM AND TO MAKE IT, BY NATURE, IS TO BE MINDFUL OF ITS TECHNIQUES AND THE VALUE OF SUCH FINE MATERIALS. BUT THIS IS SECONDARY. THE FEELING I WANT TO IMPART IS ONE OF RADIANCE, IN EVERY SENSE: THAT OF LIGHT, OF EMOTION, OF ENERGY AND, OF COURSE, THAT OF BEAUTY.
I believe jewelry should always aspire to rival the awe we experience when we turn our eyes upward. The very process and purpose of designing — of refining one’s signature— is for me, to eventually locate this fine and illusory quality. My goal is to spin these precious materials into something that is much more than a beautiful object. I believe one’s designs should evoke their connection to space — its vastness, its majesty and its superlative form.”
ANA KHOURI HAS CREATED SOME OF THE MOST SOUGHT-AFTER DESIGNS OF TODAY THROUGH EXCEPTIONAL CRAFTSMANSHIP WHILE USING ETHICALLY AND RESPONSIBLY SOURCED MATERIALS. SHE HAS MASTERED THE DELICATE ART OF COMBINING BEAUTY AND TIMELESSNESS WITH CUTTING EDGE INNOVATION.
Artist and Jeweler Ana Khouri first studied Fine Arts specializing in Sculpture. Later, Ana attained degrees at GIA and Parsons, amongst several other specialized studies in her medium. While Khouri has been working on jewelry projects since 2002, she officially opened her New York atelier in 2013.
Ana has shown her work in solo exhibitions at Phillips Auction House New York in 2018 “Ana Khouri: Jewels Now Exhibition” and Phillips Auction House London in 2019 “Ana Khouri: Jewels as Art Exhibition”. Sotheby’s Auction House New York in 2021 and other Sotheby’s locations, as well as several Museums worldwide. TEFAF Art Fair New York in 2022 showcasing her High Jewelry work alongside her sculptures which have always served as a study for the jewelry. Khouri’s most recent solo exhibition was held at Christie’s Auction House during Haute Joaillerie in Paris in 2023 “Ana Khouri; Haute Joaillerie”.
Khouri’s jewelry is made exclusively with 18K Fairmined Gold, platinum, and ethically and responsibly sourced gemstones. Ana’s One-of-a-Kind High Jewelry can be viewed exclusively at her by-appointment space in New York. Her Edition Pieces can be also found at THE ROW in New York, Los Angeles and London.
