The Attico is the brainchild of Gilda Ambrosio and Giorgia Tordini: women talking to women, imagining fashion as a tool of expression, with a distinctive sense of daring. Established in 2016, The Attico is rooted in the complementary personalities of its creative directors and an idea of multiplicity as feminine strength.

Fashion designer Gilda Ambrosio, born and raised in Naples, Italy, graduated from Milan’s Istituto Marangoni in 2013. Giorgia Tordini, originally from Civitanova Marche, moved to Milan to study fashion design at the Istituto Europeo di Design.

In 2012, Tordini moved to New York City; from there she began developing the concept of The Attico with Gilda Ambrosio.

Since its launch, The Attico has continued to be well received by style icons, top editors, and celebrities, resulting in numerous public appearances, red carpets, and special projects.

In 2018, Archive acquired 49% of the brand to support its creative and business growth.

The Attico is currently distributed in over 200 top retailers, boutiques, and concept stores worldwide.
