Delfina Delettrez Fendi è una designer e gioielliera con base a Roma.

Ha fondato il suo marchio, Delfina Delettrez, nel 2007.

Da subito rappresenta il suo brand tramite una vasta gamma di ricerca dei materiali che si manifesta con originalità nell’uso di surrealismo figurativo e iconografie naturalistiche, come mani, occhi, api e labbra che adornano diverse parti del corpo come un continuo gioco di echi.

Le ultime creazioni di Delettrez esplorano un surrealismo più concettuale: invece di aggiungere, ora lei sottrae, mostrando le pietre preziose come fossero indipendenti, autonome tra incassature fantasma, per conferire quell’effetto di illusione di pietre preziose che fluttuano sul corpo.

Nel 2009 il Museo delle arti decorative del Louvre di Parigi acquista l’anello “Kiss a Frog” ed il bracciale “Original Sin” come parte della collezione permanente nella sezione gioiello, facendo così di Delfina Delettrez la più giovane designer a far parte del museo.

Nel 2013 Delfina entra a far parte di BoF 500 - The people shaping the global fashion industry.

Nel 2016 viene nominata tra i “30 under 30” da Forbes Magazine, l’annuale elenco dei "giovani imprenditori più brillanti, i talenti di successo e i motori di cambiamento”.

Delfina Delettrez Fendi is a designer and jeweller based in Rome.

She founded her company, Delfina Delettrez, in 2007.

Since the inception of her brand, she has developed a signature perspective using a wide material vocabulary, manifested in her original use of figurative surrealism and natural iconography including hands, eyes, bees, and lips. These adorn different parts of the anatomy, in a continuous game of echoes.

Delettrez’s latest work explores a more conceptual sense of the surreal: instead of adding, she now subtracts, viewing precious stones as self-sufficient in themselves and creating ‘phantom settings’ which give the illusion of fine jewels floating around the body.

In 2009 Louvre’s Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris purchased the “Kiss a Frog” ring and “Original Sin” bracelet, to be part of the permanent collection in the Jewellery section, making her the youngest designer to be showcased at the venerated museum.

In 2013 Delfina was chosen to become part of BoF 500 – The people shaping the global fashion industry.

In 2016 she was named one of Forbes Magazine’s 30 Under 30, the annual round-up that celebrates the “brightest young entrepreneurs, breakout talents, and change agents”.
