Marco Capaldo is the co-founder and Creative Director of 16Arlington, the London-based luxury womenswear label established in 2018.
Under his creative direction, 16Arlington has developed a distinct visual identity, defined by a considered balance of glamour, modernity and an ongoing dialogue with the arts. Through critically acclaimed runway collections and a growing international presence, Capaldo has established the brand as a distinctive voice in luxury fashion.
His work continues to explore the relationship between fashion, art and culture, extending beyond the runway through creative collaborations, red carpet dressing and a strong presence across leading international retailers.
In 2023, Capaldo was awarded the BFC/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund.
In 2024, Capaldo curated Memories of the Future in collaboration with Almine Rech at Frieze No.9 Cork Street, London. Exploring the relationship between memory and the future, the exhibition brought together 14 artists, including works by Andy Warhol, Francesca Woodman, Rhea Dillon, George Rouy and Jesse Pollock.
Later that year, Capaldo received the British Fashion Award for New Establishment Womenswear, recognising his contribution to British fashion and the continued evolution of 16Arlington.
