Paloma Elsesser is a once-in-a-generation individual who embodies the qualities of a true trailblazer. Through her modelling work and advocacy for young women, Paloma has established herself as a leading voice in the fashion industry. As a beloved public fi gure and role model, Paloma advocates for industry representation, addiction recovery, and expanded and inclusive language around bodies and mental health.
Alongside modelling Paloma is focussed on her work as a writer, design collaborator and presenter. Her latest book, Treasure, challenges conventional understandings of autonomy and body image, and sold out immediately upon release.
Born in London to an African-American mother and father of Chilean and Swiss descent, she was raised in LA and went on to study psychology and literature in NYC where she now resides. She was discovered on Instagram by make-up artist Pat McGrath and has gone on to work with all leading luxury and mass-market brands, redefi ning what a luxury model is. Paloma has graced the covers of major fashion magazines including American Vogue, British Vogue, i-D, WSJ Magazine, D La Republica and PERFECT amongst others, collaborated with notable designers Marni, Marc Jacobs, Victoria’s Secret to name a few, and walked the runway for prestigious fashion houses Fendi, Balenciaga, Chloé, Versace and more.
As she continues to break barriers and redefi ne the standards of beauty, Paloma’s impact on the fashion industry and society at large is undeniable, and she remains an inspiration to those striving for a more inclusive and compassionate world.
