Remo Ruffini is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Moncler S.p.A. He was born on August 27, 1961, in Como.

In 2003, Ruffini took over the helm of Moncler, the legendary brand specialized in down jackets, undertaking a global brand reset that, while always remaining faithful to its roots and heritage, elevated it to a luxury positioning. With his love for challenges and a unique talent for brand vision, Ruffini soon left his hallmark on the brand with an integrated strategy that combines business acumen with a constantly evolving, creative sensitivity. This approach determined Moncler's international success, leading the company to be floated on the Milan Stock Exchange in 2013, after just a decade.

On February 20, 2018, Ruffini’s vision and ability to disrupt the traditional codes of the industry, led to the launch of Moncler Genius. Pioneering collaborations with different creative minds, Moncler Genius redefined the brand’s relevance in the digital era, introducing constant dialogue and engagement with its community through monthly editorial projects and collection launches. Since then, Moncler Genius evolved into a platform for co- creation, teaming up with partners from multiple industries spanning art, design, entertainment, music, sport and culture and bringing a new energy to the brand and a new meaning to the world of luxury.

In December 2020, under Ruffini’s leadership, Moncler announced the acquisition of Stone Island, finalized on March 31, 2021, and the creation of the Moncler Group. In 2022, Moncler turned 70, creating a unique opportunity for the brand to celebrate in its distinctive way through a succession of worldwide activations for 70 days that included a takeover of the iconic Piazza Duomo in Milan in front of a live audience of 18,000 brand lovers.
