Roman-born Giambattista Valli launched his eponymous brand in 2005, debuting his first ready-to-wear show in Paris. He had relocated from Italy to fulfill his enduring dream of creating a true “Maison” after gaining experience at Roberto Capucci, Fendi, and serving as the Creative Director of Emanuel Ungaro.

The Maison's was established in a historic building on Rue Boissy d'Anglas, which also houses its flagship store, dedicated entirely to ready-to-wear collections, leather goods, and accessories, including shoes, bags, and jewelry. In July 2011, Giambattista Valli presented his first Couture collection and was officially accepted as a member of the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture.

From 2008 to 2017, Giambattista Valli was the Creative Director of Moncler Gamme Rouge, where he pioneered a new language of refined activewear and expanded the horizons for women’s puffer jackets.

As a leading figure in the global fashion scene, Giambattista Valli redefined luxury and beauty, attracting a young, modern, and international clientele of glamorous and sophisticated women. His work has been praised by celebrities and fashion enthusiasts alike, earning him numerous accolades, including the Star Honoree Award from Fashion Group International in New York (2011), Best Designer of the Year Awards from Elle China (2013), and Marie Claire Spain (2015). In 2022, Forbes Magazine hailed him as “the most French of the Italian couturiers.”

In 2017, Valli was named Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres, one of France's highest cultural honors, awarded by the French Republic’s Minister of Culture. The ceremony was hosted by Diana Widmaier Picasso and Dame Anna Wintour. In 2024, he was promoted to Officier de lOrdre des Arts et des Lettres by French Minister of Culture, Rachida Dati.

A-list figures such as Amal Clooney, Rihanna, HRH Queen Rania of Jordan, Ariana Grande, Kendall Jenner, Isha Ambani, Selena Gomez and Zendaya are among those who have worn his creations.

With flagship stores in Paris and Milan, boutiques in Bloomingdale’s in New York City, Lagoona Mall in Qatar, the Giambattista Valli brand is distributed globally across hundreds of prestigious wholesalers.

His narrative is a love story, shared with dreamers and lovers who embrace a common philosophy: ageless, timeless, and effortless.
