Youssef Zogheib

2026

Born in Beirut in 2002, Youssef Zogheib is a Menswear Designer based in Paris.

He was trained in the couture ateliers of Beirut, most notably at Elie Saab and later in Paris as an apprentice in bespoke tailoring at Camps de Lucas.

After completing his Bachelor studies at Parsons Paris, he gained experience in the menswear design studios of Hermès under Véronique Nichanian and Dior under Johnathan Anderson.

His debut collection GRAVESEND was awarded le Prix du Public Mode at the 40th edition of the Festival de Hyères.

Today, Youssef is working as a Junior Tailoring designer at Hermès under Grace Wales Bonner.

Drawing on John Topham’s censored 1940 photographs of Royal Air Force soldiers crossdressing before battle in the town of Gravesend, this eponymous collection explores male tenderness and fantasy suppressed by the war machine. It challenges systems of martial discipline and militarised masculinity by investigating the uniform—recasting it from an instrument of domination, hierarchy, and control into a space for softness, contradiction, and resistance.

Growing up in Beirut, Youssef Zogheib was exposed to the military from an early age—his father served as an officer in the Lebanese armed forces. Through GRAVESEND, he uses fashion to give shape to aspects of masculinity that militarized societies intend to archive, censor, and erase.
